the sr. Continuous improvement manager oversees and helps develop all aspects of the continuous improvement to ensure compliance with regulations and company needs as well as providing a strategic vision of the continuous improvement function for the company.
all continuous improvement and lean matters are the responsibility of the sr. Continuous improvement manager internally and externally. This role is responsible for overseeing all lean and continuous improvement projects from the plants, and interaction with other functional areas to enable implementation from lean and continuous improvement goals and objectives.
required skills and qualifications
* bachelor degree in industrial engineering or similar field
* 10 years of related experience in a management role; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* strong communication skills (both oral and written)
* extensive negotiation skills
* strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility as a peer with plants, region, global functions, customers and suppliers
* action oriented – in a structured way that aligns with the business goals, customer needs and strategic roadmaps
* knowledge of lean manufacturing and 6 sigma tools
* excellent proven problem-solving skills
