Overview we are hiring a product manager (6-month contract) to work on a mobile-first web application for a major ip partner of the ai start-up taste. About the role hiring a product manager to deliver a highly engaging, mobile-first application that utilizes cutting-edge ai technology. You will be the bridge between our internal technical team and a seamless, world-class user experience for a global audience. Key responsibilities product direction & ux strategy take ownership of the product vision, with a clear focus on delivering a premium, mobile-first experience that leverages taste’s ai models. Develop a deep understanding of the partner’s brand, licensing constraints, and optimal product ux. Identify critical paths to launch, ensuring the interface is intuitive, visually stunning, and true to the ip. Balance the ambition of the creative vision with practical delivery. User journey & solution design define the customer journey end-to-end (user journey mapping), ensuring the solution captivates users while meeting launch goals. Collaborate closely with ui/ux agencies, designers, and ai researchers to shape solutions that are delightful to use and technically viable. Roadmap ownership and prioritization assert full product ownership of the application. Own the project schedule and backlog end-to-end, setting clear priorities aligned to the partner’s launch window. Enforce key decisions on feature prioritization, ui polish, and release schedules. Make disciplined scope decisions to ensure the most critical user-facing features are delivered without compromising the launch date. Delivery & team alignment serve as the connector between creative intent and engineering progress of external and internal teams. Ensure sprint goals are clearly defined, design feedback is consolidated, and blockers are removed. Take accountability for the project’s successful deployment, ensuring the final product matches the approved design fidelity. Commercial and go-to-market work closely with taste leadership and marketing to ensure the web app supports the broader campaign strategy. Ensure the application is refined and ready for a high-profile public launch. Product communication and alignment communicate project status, risks, and milestones clearly across taste and the external partner stakeholders. Build alignment between creative teams, the technical team, and the client. Act as a strong product leader who brings clarity, structure, and momentum to a high-stakes, client-facing project. Must-haves experience as a project or product manager delivering high-traffic, consumer-facing mobile or web applications. Proven ability to partner effectively with engineering/technical teams; you can translate product vision into requirements and maintain alignment on progress and feasibility. Proven ability to manage products with a heavy focus on ux/ui, design fidelity, and seamless user journeys. Strong execution mindset, with experience managing fixed-timeline deliveries for high-profile clients, agencies, or partners. Comfortable working closely with designers and external ui agencies to interpret feedback and drive creative execution. Demonstrated experience driving a project roadmap through the chaos of a start-up environment or a high-pressure agency launch. Track record of execution. Able to take ambiguous requirements, make fast decisions, and deliver a polished global product. Clear, structured communicator who can manage external partner expectations while keeping internal teams focused. Communication across the company and to management while under pressure is critical. Nice to have experience working with generative ai, llms, or diffusion models in a production environment. Experience delivering digital campaigns or products for major entertainment ip, media brands, or global consumer tech. A good eye for clean, high-fidelity products and design. Proficiency in tools like figma, notion or miro for reviewing designs and flows. Experience supporting high-stakes launches with millions of concurrent users.
