as a control systems engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of our control systems and processes.
* monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and reliability.
* handle basic it-related tasks to support the overall operation of the factory during night shifts.
key responsibilities include:
network infrastructure management
* administer and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
* troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions promptly.
lan/wi-fi network administration
* manage local area networks (lans) and wi-fi networks to support seamless connectivity across the facility.
server and storage system management
* oversee dell and wintel server and storage systems to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
* troubleshoot and resolve server/storage-related issues.
database system management
* manage ms sql database systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
* perform regular backups and ensure data security.
it service delivery and support
* provide top-notch it support for manufacturing equipment, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
* collaborate with vendors for equipment maintenance and repairs.
cisco industrial networking specialist
* maintain and enhance network infrastructure's industrial reliability and performance using cisco certification.
plc and ipc operations
* work with programmable logic controllers (plcs) and integrated process controllers (ipcs).
shift work flexibility
* be available for night and weekend shifts as needed to ensure continuous 24/7 support.
aveva scada systems expertise
* familiarity with wonderware aveva scada systems and understanding of opc ua/da server operations.
