As a primary care physician, you will provide medical attention to employees during their workday. Your role will involve promoting health and preventing work-related illnesses in accordance with applicable safety and occupational health standards.
the position involves attending general medical consultations for employees during working hours, conducting entrance, periodic, and exit medical evaluations as per current regulations, maintaining records of occupational diseases and workplace accidents, coordinating health campaigns, vaccinations, and well-being promotion at the workplace, preparing monthly medical reports, attendance statistics, and documentation for imss or other institutions, collaborating with the safety and hygiene department to prevent workplace risks, participating in internal health and safety committees, supervising the proper use and maintenance of the medical office and first aid kits, and providing training to personnel on occupational health topics (ergonomics, stress, etc.).
to be successful in this role, you should have a medical degree (title and professional license required), at least 2 years of experience in similar positions in industry or occupational health, knowledge of safety and hygiene standards (nom-stps), occupational medicine, and first aid, software skills in managing digital medical records (desired), and certifications in occupational health (desired).
