What You Will Do The Technical Advisor at SailPoint leverages their experience to build a deep understanding of our SaaS and/or Software solutions. Within a month or two, they serve as a technical lead on customer engagements and cases, applying client and partner communication skills and industry knowledge to share organizational best practices for SailPoint products and identity governance. By the end of the first year, Senior Solution Architects will be trusted technical and consultative experts within Professional Services, becoming trusted advisors to customers, partners, leadership, and less experienced team members. Responsibilities As a trusted advisor, provide strategic direction to customers and implementation partners for a successful Identity Security Program. Perform assessments of the customer’s current Identity landscape and build out their future identity roadmap. Build out customers’ Identity role-based access control and application onboarding program. Ensure SailPoint best practices are followed for successful project delivery. Advise and provide direction to junior resources on the project implementation. Provide pros and cons to customers for building custom tools to meet their unique and complex business goals. Maintain healthy business relationships with customers and partners. Collaborate with advisory services leads and program managers; provide recommendations on changes needed for the program. Work with cross-functional teams to understand the product roadmap, product limitations, and advise strategic direction to customers. Document and present SaaS product adoption gaps. Recommend areas where SaaS product consumption can be improved. Solve complex problems using the product’s Atlas extensibility platform (hands-on implementation work). Additional Responsibilities (Optional) Manage, mentor, and coach direct reports. Manage project scheduling, budgeting, risk, and weekly status. Collaborate with the CSM renewals team to lower churn risk, increase SaaS adoption, and generate leads or manage new advisory services opportunities. Be responsible for existing Advisory Services clients renewal opportunities and closure. Requirements 8 years of experience in a technical consulting role. Strong communication and presentation skills to perform identity security program assessments and provide a road map. Experience with any identity provisioning and governance products is required. Experience with networking, directory servers, and databases is required. Experience with Azure and AWS is a plus. Experience with web-based APIs is required. Experience with object-oriented programming is nice to have. Strong organizational, leadership, and multi-tasking skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Documentation management and ability to use project management tools. Attention to detail even under pressure. Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. IdentityIQ or IdentityNow certification is a plus. Experience with data science and machine learning language models is a plus.
