Cellmark operates in over 65 offices in 30 countries, with novato being its regional headquarters.thesenior traderwill be responsible for leading the development, growth, and profitability of the portfolio in mexico and related strategic markets.the role has direct responsibility for margin generation, portfolio expansion, negotiation with clients and suppliers, as well as commercial and foreign exchange risk management. A strategic vision, a strong financial focus, and the ability to execute independently are expected.responsibilitieswould include, but are not limited to:• design and implement the commercial strategy for the mexican market. • develop and expand the portfolio of industrial clients and/or distributors. • negotiate commercial terms (price, volume, credit, logistics, incoterms). • manage the gross margin and profitability of the portfolio (p&l responsibility). • monitor local and international market trends, prices, and competition. • identify arbitrage opportunities and commercial optimization strategies. • evaluate financial, credit, and foreign exchange (usd/mxn) risks. • collaborate closely with csr, logistics, finance, and credit to ensure efficient execution. • represent the company to strategic clients and international suppliers. • ensure compliance with internal policies and the code of conduct.requirements:·really fluent in english (you will be working with american people and it will be several english interviews in the process) ·5 to 10 years of experience in trading, international sales, or b2b business development. ·proven experience managing margin and volume. ·experience negotiating with industrial clients in mexico. ·experience handling usd transactions and foreign exchange exposure ·experience in raw materials, chemicals, paper, polymers, or industrial products (is desirable).knowledge required:• chemical engineering, industrial engineering, commercial engineering or related field.skill requirements:• high-level strategic negotiation skills. • strong analytical and financial skills. • data-driven decision-making. • entrepreneurial mindset and results-oriented. • high autonomy and discipline for remote work. • excellent executive communication skills.we offer:gross salary according to experience and skills.
