Sap procurement to pay
lead the design, optimization, and support of the end-to-end procure-to-pay (p2p) process in sap. Act as the subject matter expert in sap mm and fi-ap modules, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient procurement solutions. Drive digital transformation initiatives and ensure best practices across procurement operations.
key responsibilities:
1. lead the functional design and implementation of sap p2p solutions, including mm (materials management) and fi-ap (accounts payable) modules.
2. analyze and optimize end-to-end procurement processes: purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, invoice verification, and payment.
3. translate business requirements into sap solutions, prepare functional specs, and collaborate with technical teams for developments and enhancements.
4. configure and maintain sap p2p settings including release strategies, pricing procedures, master data management, and integration with fi.
5. oversee system upgrades, rollouts, and s/4hana migration projects involving procurement functions.
6. ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements within procurement workflows.
7. train and mentor junior consultants and key users.
8. act as the key contact for procurement process owners and finance teams.
9. stay current with sap roadmap (s/4hana, ariba, central procurement) and recommend innovations.
requirements:
1. strong background in sap mm and fi-ap configuration.
2. experience with s/4hana, fiori apps, or integration with ariba is highly desirable.
technical skills:
1. deep knowledge of p2p process flows and sap document lifecycle.
2. strong configuration experience in sap mm (purchasing, inventory management, release procedures, etc.) and fi-ap.
3. understanding of sap integration points (mm-fi, mm-sd, mm-wm).
4. familiarity with idocs, workflows, output management, and master data governance.
