job summary
job summary: lead the design, development, and implementation of the synchronized end-to-end (e2e) demand and supply strategy with resilient, flexible, and synchronized processes, ensuring timely communication with key business partners. Support the go-to-market process to advance the business's commercial strategy by reducing response time and guaranteeing effective execution across the e2e supply chain for relaunches and new products. Manage and effectively direct the use of resources (systems, equipment, and materials) on the plant floor to create greater efficiency and responsiveness, delivering superior customer service focused on the business's strategic priorities and growth.
responsibilities
* maintain a solid foundation in planning, end-to-end processes, understanding business needs, and data analytics to lead the planning area, focusing on delivering the highest level of service.
* ensure effective compliance with the fp&r production planning standard.
* lead the planning team; design the area's strategy and ensure the training and career development of each member.
* promote and implement feed principles (focused, empowered, experimental, digital) within the planning team.
* ensure that sap modules and digital planning systems are operating correctly.
* lead the implementation of automated/contactless planning processes to transform current processes, making them sustainable and effective over time.
* ensure adequate, effective, and efficient short- and long-term production planning to support business needs.
* regularly conduct line capacity analysis by comparing demand and available time to determine resource needs, outsourcing potential, and risk communication.
* collaborate with the global supply chain, customer service, and logistics teams, the cbs team, and external partners to drive operational efficiency, execute supply network strategies, and meet key performance indicators.
* new ways of working: lead the implementation and ensure the use of available sap and e2e digital tools to proactively identify and minimize potential supply risks or excess inventory of finished goods (fgs), material shortage risks, or potential slob scenarios.
* work in continuous collaboration with the local cbs or snp team to establish priorities and adjust strategic supply plans.
* 100% system-driven planning: ensure that parameters and master data for all active and inactive codes (raw and pack, fgs, half) are updated quarterly.
* promoting the use of sap and digital tools for optimal automated planning.
* leading the development and implementation of raw and packed material inventory strategies to execute production plans, maintain the expected service level, and meet inventory targets.
* supporting and monitoring policies and compliance with raw and packed inventory coverage targets; analyzing monthly closing projections with planners and the cbs (supply chain).
* leading the development and implementation of cycle time interval (cti) strategies aligned with new product segmentation tools.
* ensuring the planning team properly manages the activities, relationships, and monthly evaluation of material suppliers (ensuring supply, executing production plans, and minimizing potential slobs).
* ensuring the planning team collaborates with the direct purchasing team to identify and resolve material and/or supplier gaps and drive future efficiencies (sd&s opportunities).
* synchronized demand and supply (sd&s): design and implement the strategic plan to coordinate collaborative work among the end-to-end planning team (pp, snp, dp, cbs), ensuring synergy and effective execution.
* new products: actively participate in the go-to-market process to support the marketing, sales, cms, finance, and cs&l teams in the effective and timely execution of new product and relaunch initiatives.
* ensure timely completion of the local new product grid, define implementation timelines, and monitor/coordinate the necessary execution activities.
* manage the control of slow-moving and/or obsolete materials (slobs) to determine and execute the necessary actions, minimizing the impact on scrap.
* ensure that transition and/or discontinued material processes are led by planning to reduce slobs and the impact of scrap. Ensure that the planning area participates in and supports the implementation of projects related to each focus factory (ftg, ceb, maintenance, etc.).
requirements
* university degree in engineering, logistics, or business administration.
* at least 7 years of combined experience in manufacturing, customer service, and logistics or purchasing.
* more than 3 years of experience in project supervision or management.
* 80% english proficiency required.
* requires knowledge of inventory management, continuous improvement, supply chain, data analysis, and application of supply chain optimization tools/methodologies.
* advanced proficiency in sap
* microsoft excel, and g suite tools (sheets, slides, docs). E2e tools/methodologies/systems (constrained snp, control tower, tableau, qlikview)
desirable requirements
* mba preferred.
* business finance knowledge and understanding preferred.
