Production planner.
plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of more sophisticated models of industrial or commercial products: prepares timeline to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
responsibilities.
• analyze production specifications and plant capacity data of smaller departments and work centers to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
• plan and schedule workflow for production operations and departments according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
• confer with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects and special orders. The planner 2 role will monitor the less involved project orders with lower profile and/or smaller dollar impact.
• expedite operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• prepare production reports and report out via written reports.
• track non-conformance reports for timely resolution.

requirements.
• ba/bs degree preferred- business or technical.
• apics certification desirable.
• 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing and/or materials management, including at least two years in materials management as a planner / master scheduler.
• spanish/english bilingual.
