The Digital SC team drives the digitalization of Balluff’s global supply chain. In our agile setup, we work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver innovative and stable solutions that support our end‑to‑end processes.
As an SAP Business Consultant, you will play a crucial role in stabilizing our business applications, enabling global end users, and continuously optimizing supply chain processes.
Responsibilities: Fluent English (Mandatory)
1. Application Support & Incident Management (Core Focus)
* Act as the primary contact for end users in the AMERICAS region for SAP-related issues within the Supply Chain domain.
* Full ownership of incidents in 1st and 2nd Level Support, primarily within the SAP modules:
* MM (Materials Management)
* PP (Production Planning)
* LE (Logistics Execution)
* Collaborate with Senior Consultants and Developers to resolve complex issues and drive long-term improvements.
* Monitor, prioritize, and manage incidents to ensure consistent service quality and transparency.
2. Process Analysis & Continuous Improvement
* Analyze and optimize supply chain processes across procurement, production, and logistics execution.
* Document process flows, functional specifications, and system designs.
* Actively contribute to harmonization and standardization initiatives within the global process landscape in alignment with and according to the guidance of the Product Owner.
3. Knowledge Management
* Create and maintain user documentation, process descriptions and training materials.
* Develop and publish Knowledge Base articles to support global self-service and reduce recurring requests.
4. User Training & Enablement
* Design and deliver training sessions (virtual or onsite) for end users and key users.
* Support onboarding of new users in relevant applications.
* Maintain strong business engagement to understand regional requirements and ensure a high-quality support experience.
5. Project Participation
* Support SAP projects such as enhancements or integration initiatives.
* Conduct requirement gathering, prepare functional specifications, perform system testing, and provide go-live support.
* Work closely with Product Owners in an agile environment.
Profile:
* 5 years of practical experience as SAP Consultant, Key User, or Application Specialist in Supply Chain–related areas.
* Sound understanding of supply chain processes, ideally including procurement, production, logistics execution, and inventory management.
* Practical experience in at least one of the SAP Supply Chain modules (MM, PP, LE); experience in multiple modules is a plus.
