we’re looking for a *data scientist intern* who is passionate about leveraging data and ai to solve real-world problems. This is an opportunity to work remotely, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop your skills alongside industry professionals. As a *data scientist intern*, you will collaborate with our product analytics team to help develop, test, and deploy machine learning models and analytical tools that drive business decisions for top global brands.
this internship is designed for students currently in their *6th semester or higher* in a relevant undergraduate program (such as *robotics, digital systems engineering, computer science, data science, or related fields*). The role requires a *minimum availability of 20 hours per week* and is fully remote_ (in case the intern resides in monterrey, you will be expected to attend our office once a week for a couple of hours)._
*key responsibilities*:
- assist in the *development of predictive models and data pipelines* to improve pricing, promotions, and inventory strategies for cpgs and retailers.
- perform *data exploration, preprocessing, and analysis* using python (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.).
- collaborate with data scientists and engineers to *test and deploy models* in production environments.
- * visualize data insights* using tools like streamlit or powerbi for internal and client-facing reports.
- participate in *designing experiments* and analyzing results to support product and business decisions.
- stay current with *new technologies and ai trends* that can enhance our solutions.
*requirements*:
- currently pursuing a *bachelor’s degree* in *robotics, computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field* (6th semester or higher).
- * hands-on experience with python*, data analysis libraries (pandas, scikit-learn), and *sql*.
- exposure to *machine learning frameworks* like pytorch or tensorflow (personal projects or coursework are valued).
familiarity with *data visualization tools* (streamlit, powerbi, or seaborn).
- curious and passionate about *ai, machine learning, and analytics*.
- comfortable working in a *remote environment* with strong communication and self-management skills.
- english proficiency (spoken and written).
