Job description – amethe ame is responsible to complete all the advance manufacturing deliverables for a program to develop and launch the manufacturing process.essential duties and responsibilities:· development of manufacturing processes by completing detailed engineering analysis of:· design for assembly and manufacturing (dfam)· logistics and contingency planning· process flow (pf)· process labor planning & line balance· material flow and line side presentation· plant layout· ergonomic analysis· process failure mode and effect analysis (pfma)· specific support activities for other programs in the region· prepare and present the program revisions with the sdt· production equipment & tooling specification, purchase and acceptance· validation of manufacturing process to meet labor targets, production output and quality standards (oee)· analysis gdt (dimensiones y tolereancias geometricas)· ownership of apqp manufacturing deliverables· statistical knowledge (spc, msa, capability study, doe)· value stream mappingqualification:to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

· bachelor's degree in engineering (industrial or mechanical preferred)· bi-lingual english/spanish· minimum 5 years of industry experience - automotive interiors experience preferred· experience with seating products (desired)· pfmea development· modapts or equivalent training/certification (wish)· direct and indirect labor analysis and planning· equipment specification, ordering, run-off, installation and qualification· capital equipment budget planning and tracking· strong computer skills with ability to quickly learn new software/applications· ability to draw two dimensional layouts in cad software· analytical problem solving· design for assembly and manufacturing· project management - plan development and execution· communication· ability to work with the customer, program, designeers and commercial team· leadership with supplier and internal teams.
