Autozone is looking for a devops support engineer to be part of our growing b2b commercial operations team. It will support key business capabilities and technology solutions of services/applications with a deep focus on production operations, capacity planning, and performance management.
responsibilities
* support new features, scaling, automation, and self-healing processes for sites and systems
* identify and implement code/configuration changes to improve performance and reliability as necessary
* work with the offshore team to hand over the tasks and review the deliverables.
* advocate for top-notch design standards and lead process improvements in collaboration with architects and application engineers
* coordinate with product owners and business partners to address the business problems and document them as needed.
requirements
* a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
* 3+ years of professional programming with java.
* 3+ years of professional programming with spring framework.
technical skills may include experience with one or more of:
* operating systems (unix, linux, and/or windows).
* databases (oracle, mysql, and/or postgresql).
* experience in supporting high volume e-commerce applications is a must.
* experience with monitoring tools (dynatrace/splunk/elk/apm, etc.) is a must.
* hands‑on experience using version control tools such as git or similar is a must.
* experience working/supporting applications in gcp is preferred.
* ability to quickly troubleshoot critical production issues spanning applications/infrastructure and tune high‑volume online applications.
