At gentherm, we're seeking a skilled process engineer to play a key role in our operations. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing process standardization initiatives, ensuring global consistency across manufacturing plants.
the ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or related fields, with 3 years of experience in manufacturing processes. They should also have expertise in computer tools, fmea, and lean manufacturing principles. Autocad proficiency is essential, while knowledge of pfmeas is desirable.
responsibilities:
* process standardization: collaborate with the global process owner to create 'process design guideline' documents, driving global standardization of processes.
* equipment and process standardization: ensure uniformity of equipment and processes across mexico-based manufacturing plants.
* pfmea development: create and update master pfmeas to support new programs and engineering changes.
* prototype sample construction: develop prototype samples as required by customers, including raw material procurement and inventory management.
