Job title: inventory management specialist
this role is responsible for overseeing inventory management operations, ensuring optimal stock levels and reducing on-hand costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or mechanical/electrical engineering.
key responsibilities:
* monitor and maintain optimal stock levels of critical spare parts
* lead cycle counting and annual physical inventories
* ensure all transactions are correctly logged in the system
* identify obsolete or slow-moving inventory
* work closely with maintenance planners and buyers to forecast needs
required qualifications:
* bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering or business administration
* apics cpim or cscp certification
* experience supervising or leading warehouse/tool crib staff
* knowledge of iso standards (e.g., iso 55000 for asset management)
