In BYD we are looking for our next National Sales Manager responsible of leading BYD’s national sales strategy, driving wholesale and retail performance across all regions in Mexico. The position requires strong leadership, proven experience in the automotive industry, and the ability to align local sales initiatives with BYD’s global vision for the electric mobility market.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute national sales strategies, achieving monthly and annual targets.
- Develop and manage dealer/distributor networks, including training, performance reviews, and incentive programs.
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and competitor trends.
- Build strong relationships with key customers, fleet buyers, and government stakeholders.
- Lead national promotional activities and brand development initiatives.
- Mentor and motivate the sales team, ensuring KPI achievement and compliance with company standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, or related (Master’s preferred).
- 8–10 years in automotive sales, including 5+ in leadership roles with dealer management exclusively in the automotive industry
- Strong track record in sales strategy, wholesale/retail operations, and dealer development.
- Advanced English, excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Mexico and China.
