As an electrical distribution system (eds) in-house design and release (d&r) ford champ you will be responsible for supporting the design, development, validation, and release of the wiring harnesses to achieve cost saving targets, as well as developing process improvements within the eds department.
*what you´ll need*:
- active student from any of the last 4 semesters of electrical engineering
- 90% english skills (oral, reading, writing, and listening)
- microsoft office usage (excel, word, powerpoint, and visio).
- basic 3d cad knowledge
- understanding of automotive systems.
- understanding of feature partitioning.
- programming skills
*what you´ll do*:
- complies with program cost, weight, quality, performance and timing targets.
- complies with robustness engineering disciplines (quality history, p-diagram, fmea, etc.)
- supports technical design reviews (tdrs)
- lead tvm and material cost reductions.
- could release parts in fedebom and wers. Support the change control meeting.
- audit and update bom (bill of material) with correct part levels and usage, for prototype builds and maintain it post job 1.
- identify validation, durability and functional test required as per sds & es. (dvp / fede)
