position overview
we are looking for a chinese – spanish interpreter to support an automotive project on-site. The selected candidate will act as a key communication bridge between chinese and mexican teams, ensuring clear and accurate information flow during project execution.
key responsibilities
* provide real-time interpretation (chinese ⇄ spanish) during meetings, shop floor activities, and technical discussions
* support communication between chinese project manager and local mexican teams
* translate technical documents, instructions, and reports as required
* facilitate daily coordination to ensure alignment across teams
* support manufacturing and project-related activities on-site
requirements
* advanced / fluent chinese (mandarin) and spanish
* experience as interpreter in industrial or automotive environments (preferred)
* strong communication and interpersonal skills
* ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic environments
* immediate availability
nice to have
* experience supporting automotive launches or manufacturing projects
* familiarity with technical or engineering terminology

* interviews will be conducted with both chinese and mexican project managers
