About the companywe are part of a leading aerospace division focused on quality, safety, and operational excellence, partnering with global suppliers to ensure on‐time supply and compliance across the value chain. About the role the customer service representative is the internal primary contact for assigned accounts. You will perform contract reviews, process daily orders, manage changes, respond to calls/emails, and coordinate with shipping, planning, quality, production, and other teams to ensure accurate information and on‐time delivery. Responsibilities enter daily customer orders and process order changes promptly. Review customer web portals for min/max and replenishment needs; create and enter replenishment orders. Track orders approaching due dates and verify with shipping that deliveries meet confirmed dates. Provide proactive feedback to customers regarding order changes and status. Handle customer calls, emails, complaints, and requests professionally and on time. Perform thorough contract (po) reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance. Maintain organized account files and documentation. Support the customer service department as needed and collaborate across functions. Comply with internal policies on quality, environment, and safety; complete required training and maintain records. Qualifications bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field (or equivalent experience). 0–3 years of experience in customer service or a related role. At least 1 year interpreting government/aerospace contracts. General knowledge of relevant specifications and certifications. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high quality and service standards. Required skills highly organized, detail‐oriented, and disciplined in follow‐through. Excellent communication and phone skills; strong interpersonal collaboration. Investigative mindset to locate issues and drive resolution. Customer relationship building and professional responsiveness. Ability to interact effectively with multiple departments and personalities. Familiarity with company rules and procedures related to quality, environment, and safety. Proficiency with office software (order entry, documents, spreadsheets, email). Preferred skills experience managing web‐based customer portals (min/max, replenishment). Order tracking and coordination with shipping/logistics. Documentation control and account/file management.
