what you'll do
applies basic to moderate knowledge of logistics principles, concepts and theories to execute logistical tasks of small to moderate scope. Provides analytical and planning support for the development, implementation and management of strategies that drive improvements toward the reduction of field inventory in consignment locations. Interacts with internal and external customers to communicate results and expected improvements. Accepts challenges and provides support on plans to achieve goals. Coordinates and manages small to medium sized logistics projects as directed.
essential duties and responsibilities
* monitor supply shortage daily and work with inventory analysts to determine field impacts
* respond to field inventory requests due to supply shortage and collaborate with other field distributors to determine inventory opportunities
* initiate inventory movements and complete system transactions in oracle
* maintain inventory metrics used to monitor stock level, and potential supply shortage.
* analyze field inventory levels to identify potential excesses and opportunities for better utilization, repositioning or pull back.
* performs other related duties as assigned
minimum qualifications
* bachelor's degree: business, finance, supply chain, engineering or related field
* 1+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, finance
* experience with erp systems, oracle preferred
* proficient skills in microsoft excel required
* solid business acumen and effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization
* customer satisfaction focused
* able to execute multiple tasks within tight timelines
* english spoken level: intermediate to advanced
