to learn more about convatec, please visit the role:the facilities superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of the site's critical infrastructure systems, including clean utilities, black utilities, hvac, and building management systems.
the role ensures that facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
this position also plays a key role in supporting continuous improvement initiatives, capital project execution, safety, and sustainability programs, while being as the main point of contact for all facility-related services.responsibilitiesoversee daily operation and maintenance of facilities and utilities, including hvac, cleanrooms, boilers, air compressors, chilled water, and waste systems.
supervise internal and external personnel responsible for executing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs.ensure that all critical systems operate within validated parameters and in accordance with applicable regulations (gmp, iso 13485, ehs).
manage and monitor building management systems (bms), ensuring optimal system performance, alarm management, and energy efficiency.coordinate facility shutdowns and maintenance interventions, minimizing impact to production and ensuring proper planning and communication.support capital and infrastructure projects in collaboration with the engineering and project management teams.lead or participate in root cause analysis (rca) of non-conformities and oversee implementation and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions (capas).
