at mla, we are currently looking for a full-time proactive, dynamic, ip associate eager to develop their professional practice in the field of international intellectual property, focusing on u.s. trademark law. As a member of our legal team, you will collaborate closely with our experienced attorneys to provide legal support to our clients.
main responsibilities
* managing client correspondence, client communication, and proactively addressing client inquiries and concerns
* assisting in the preparation of trademark prosecution forms
* managing and prioritizing workload effectively
* attending deadlines for multiple clients at different stages of the process
qualifications
* strong organizational skills, managing and prioritizing workload effectively, balancing client needs with legal deadlines
* exceptional attention to detail
* previous experience in a legal environment related to intellectual property and familiarity with the trademark prosecution process is necessary
* excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide clarity to clients
* ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
* fluent in english (written & spoken)
* bachelor's degree in law
