the role
the delivery partner manager is responsible for driving thesuccessful execution of temenos’ global delivery partner strategy at theregional level. Reporting directly to the senior director – global deliverypartner program, this role will manage and support the performance of regionaldelivery partners, ensuring that they are equipped, certified, and able todeliver temenos software effectively across customer implementations.
this individual will act as the key point of contact for aportfolio of delivery partners and ensure that partners meet the standards ofexcellence set by temenos. In addition, you will act as the key contact andchampion for delivery partners in a temenos region providing credentials,feedback and detailed information on the partners to the regional servicesmanagement teams (regional services directors, areas services managers andclient engagement managers).
the delivery partner manager will work closely with partnermanagement, account teams, partners, and other internal stakeholders to alignresources, drive partner enablement, and ensure successful project delivery.
you will play an essential role in fostering a strong partnerecosystem and contributing to the long-term success of our regional partnerrelationships, customer satisfaction, and temenos’ global partner strategy.
opportunities
partner management &engagement
* partneronboarding & enablement: identify gaps in the delivery partnerecosystem, and where applicable propose potential new delivery partners toaddress. Work closely with partner management team who are responsible forexecuting the due diligence and agreement contracting with the partner.actively manage the onboarding process for new delivery partners in theregion. Ensure that partners understand temenos’ products, services,certifications and implementation methodologies to drive smooth projectexecution.
* partnersupport: serve as the primary liaison between temenos and regionaldelivery partners, providing ongoing support, guidance, and assistance toensure the successful delivery of projects.
* partnerrelationships: build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with keypartners, ensuring that they are aligned with temenos’ delivery standards,customer expectations, and project requirements.
* partnersales management alignment: collaborate closely with the overall temenospartner sales program managers, aligning the delivery requirements withthe partner sales teams.
* partnerselection and recommendation: apply the certification tiering to partnersand advise sales on which partners are best suited to deliver temenosprojects. Encourage partners to achieve specialist certification(development, migration and upgrade) to promote their engagement onrelated assignments. Provide clients with recommendations based oncredentials where the partner is engaged directly by the end customer.
delivery oversight &execution
* projectexecution: work with delivery partners to ensure that implementationprojects are executed in accordance with temenos methodologies, standards,timelines, and quality expectations.
* collaborativeengagement: drive adoption and successful execution of service packagessuch as cio (collaborative implementation offering), by working closelywith delivery partners.
* issueresolution & escalation: identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issuesrelated to partner project delivery, liaising with delivery
* management,ensuring timely resolution and maintaining customer satisfaction.
* resourcemanagement: ensure that regional partners assign the right resources withthe required expertise to projects, and ensure partners are leveragingtemenos’ internal resources as needed for complex implementations.initiate credential checks on proposed partner project team resources toensure that their consultants hold the appropriate level of certification.
partner enablement &training
* credentialsreview: ensure delivery partners provide monthly reports and review thedata provided. Understand partner delivery capability, support thecreation of training plans and drive the buildup of temenos skills andcapacity.
* trainingand certification support: ensure regional delivery partners areup-to-date with temenos’ training programs, certifications, and tools.
* work with the temenos learning center to communicate regional partnertraining needs and help drive local enablement initiatives.
* continuousdevelopment: support regional partners in maintaining their certificationsand developing specialized expertise in key temenos products and services.
* tieredmodel management: evaluate existing delivery partners, downshift partnerswho do not meet the new standards and upshift and have investment meetingswith key focus delivery partners.
* knowledgesharing: promote best practices within the regional partner ecosystem andfacilitate knowledge-sharing between partners, ensuring continuouslearning and improvement. Encourage partners to utilise the knowledgeassets made available by temenos including
* basecamp, docs.temenos.com andthe temenos knowledge center.
performance &governance
* partnerperformance tracking: regularly assess and track the performance ofregional delivery partners, ensuring that partners are meeting temenos'delivery standards. This includes project quality, timelines, customersatisfaction, and adherence to internal processes.
* remediationplanning: raise performance issues with the delivery partners and identifypotential trends to be addressed by actions to be improved up to andincluding formally documented remediation plans.
* governancecompliance: monitor and enforce the governance processes for regionalpartners to ensure compliance with temenos’ policies, procedures, andquality assurance standards.
* customersatisfaction: work with delivery partners to measure and improve customersatisfaction on partner-led projects, using feedback to drive improvementsin partner performance and delivery quality.
* clientreferences: drive success stories with marketing for successful partner golives. Promote and share partner delivery references.
strategic leadership &collaboration
* cross-functionalcollaboration: collaborate with temenos’ sales, product, and accountmanagement teams to ensure alignment between customer needs, deliverycapabilities, and regional partner strategies.
* regionalstrategy execution: help define and execute the regional partner strategyin alignment with the global delivery partner framework.
* provide regularupdates to the senior director on regional performance, challenges, andopportunities.
* partnermanagement alignment: agree responsibilities for each of the partnermanagement roles (global partner management, delivery
* partner managementand regional partner sales management) and operate as virtual teams whereapplicable to provide consistent messaging to the delivery partners. Inaddition, contribute to quarterly business reviews with key strategicpartners.
* reporting& insights: provide regular reporting and insights on regional partnerperformance, challenges, and opportunities for process
* improvement, bothto internal stakeholders, executive sponsors and the global partner team.
* return oninvestment support: assist those partners who have made an investment todevelop, position and develop their solutions based on temenos technologyto the market.
skills
experience:
* at least 5–7 years of experience in partner management, deliverymanagement, or consulting in the technology/software industry, preferablywithin enterprise software or banking solutions.
* demonstrated experience managing regional partner relationships andoverseeing the delivery of complex software implementations.
* strong track record of managing cross-functional teams,collaborating with senior stakeholders, and delivering results throughpartners.
skills & expertise:
* good knowledge of the temenos delivery partner program or the widerpartner ecosystem supporting the delivery of banking/wealth
* managementproducts and related services.
* solid understanding of enterprise software implementationlifecycles, particularly in banking or financial services.
* good understanding of the temenos implementation methodology,delivery processes and packaged service offerings.
* ability to coach and mentor partners, ensuring they have the rightskills and resources for successful delivery.
