what you will do:
* meet production objectives to ensure timely service and product functionality.
* responsible for meeting assigned production programs through proper human, technical, and material management.
* comply with the guidelines and regulations of health, safety, and environment.
how you will do it:
* develop line schedule plans, considering line rates and prepare attainment reports.
* implement ec, defining phase in/phase out dates.
* add npi pilot runs to the line schedule.
* manage subassembly and fg inventory control versus fill rates.
* maintain direct contact with csr to ensure all dates and requests are addressed promptly.
* monitor on-time shipments by request, lead time, and promise dates, aiming to keep results above targets.
* conduct root cause analysis with the value stream team and develop action plans to improve metrics.
* perform system maintenance jobs and manage product ids.
* ensure nmr cleanup by promising parts according to availability and line capacity.
* create recovery plans with vst for past due accumulation or special projects to track progress.
* develop and participate in kaizen events to improve plant metrics.
* promote a safe work environment.
* contribute to customer service and a culture of continuous improvement.
* monitor and minimize past due items by scheduling ahead and creating action items with vst for root causes.
* promote and reinforce data integrity.
* develop inventory reduction plans with vst for subassembly and fg by converting or reworking excess materials.
* be a self-learner and problem solver.
* participate in risk management by identifying failure modes, hazards, and environmental aspects, assessing them, and implementing controls.
what we look for:
* education and skills: bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business administration, or equivalent experience.
* strong understanding of mrp systems.
* high proficiency in manufacturing line scheduling (capacity planning, bottleneck management, etc.).
* advanced excel skills.
