senior php developer
to our
development team
. Ideal candidates will have

years of experience
developing and implementing
php
in the backend over multiple projects as well as analysis, technical design, development, and testing, someone who can mentor junior developers and design robust architectures.
what do you need to come aboard?
* bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent coursework.
* 5+ years of experience as a php developer.
* strong experience with
php
and
mysql
(or similar sql database)
* experience with modern javascript front-end technologies such as react,, or angular.
* expertise with the mvc pattern and php frameworks such as laravel or symfony.
* proficiency in the php unit testing framework is desirable.
* knowledge of e-commerce solutions is a plus.
* experience with version control (git) and collaboration tools.
* proficient in continuous integration and deployment (ci/cd).
* understanding of full stack development.
* experience with ides which provide php support such as phpstorm, visual studio code, eclipse, netbeans.

to rock this role, you should:
* be a passionate coder with 2-5 years of experience in php.
* lead the design of robust and scalable software architectures that will set the standard for new features.
* have experience with php-7, php-8, html, javascript, jquery, prototype, xml, web-services, web api restful services.
* work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and qa engineers.
* have experience with aws-hosted environments is advantageous.
* have a strong foundation in object-oriented development.
* be detail-oriented with a passion for developing quality software.
* have design patterns knowledge.
* have experience developing entire applications from scratch.
* have full life-cycle development experience – with an agile/scrum project approach.
* be open to learning new e-commerce platforms.
* be open to working in hybrid environments.
