about ignium talent
ignium talent builds elite, remote accounting teams for premier u.s. advisory firms. We are not a volume shop. We partner with high-growth u.s. firms that need "financial first responders"—professionals who can step into fast-paced environments, manage complex workflows, and deliver flawless data without constant supervision.
the opportunity
we are hiring for a critical role supporting a fast-moving u.s. Advisory firm. This is not a role for a "solo controller" or a "junior data entry" clerk.
we need a battle-hardened agency accountant—someone who has managed a portfolio of 5+ clients simultaneously, knows the chaos of month-end close, and thrives in a high-volume environment.
who you are
* the agency veteran: you have worked in a bpo, shared service center, or accounting agency serving u.s. clients. You understand that "speed" and "accuracy" must happen at the same time.
* the real estate pro: you aren't scared of "inter-company transfers," "cam reconciliations," or "gross vs. Net rent." You know how to handle a portfolio of 10+ llcs.
* the tech native: you don't just "know" quickbooks online; you are an expert. Bonus points: you have used appfolio, yardi, or buildium.
* the "anti-spiral" professional: when you hit a roadblock or a messy file, you don't panic or wait for instructions—you dig in, find the issue, and propose a solution.
requirements
* experience: 4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience (us gaap).
* must-have: experience working in an agency / multi-client environment.
* tech stack: expert in quickbooks online. Experience with appfolio / yardi is a massive plus.
* english: c1 advanced. You must be able to explain complex accounting issues clearly via email and teams.
what you'll do
* portfolio management: manage the gl, ap, and bank reconciliations for a portfolio of complex real estate entities.
* troubleshooting: fix broken bank feeds, reconcile inter-company transfers, and clean up historical data messes in qbo.
* process adherence: follow client sops rigorously (using asana/canopy) but have the confidence to flag gaps.
* communication: maintain high availability on microsoft teams. You are the "financial first responder" for your client.
the hiring process
* resume review: we look for "agency/bpo" experience and "real estate" keywords.
* the practical exam: a live, 30-minute assessment in qbo. We watch you work to see your speed and logic.
* the "resilience" interview: a final discussion on how you handle pressure, ambiguity, and deadlines.
to apply
submit your resume in english. Note: if you have experience with appfolio or yardi, please highlight this in your application summary.
