Business intelligence analyst
we are seeking an experienced and highly skilled professional to play a crucial role in driving data analytic initiatives to support and optimize business performance. As a business intelligence analyst, you will be responsible for creating and delivering performance metrics, data reporting solutions, and visualizations that are consumed by a wide internal audience.
key responsibilities:
* assess business performance and ensure business and operational goals are being met, identifying trends, patterns, and insights within data.
* provide actionable insights internally to drive informed decision-making and improve business strategies.
* collaborate with management stakeholders to understand and meet business needs, providing solution and options internally.
data analysis and visualization:
as a business intelligence analyst, you will transform complex data into internal consumable and interactive dashboards and metrics. You will design and develop data models that align with business requirements and ensure accuracy and reliability of data presented internally in dashboards.
technical skills:
this role requires advanced understanding of database structures, query optimizations, etl development, experience automating analytics tasks, and proficiency in using business intelligence tools such as power bi or tableau for data exploration, data management, performance metric creation.
communication and training:
you will effectively convey complex data insights to technical and non-technical audiences, facilitate and bridge gaps between business requirements and technical solutions, train internal users, external technical teams, and leaders on dashboard and tool usage, and assist in troubleshooting.
requirements and qualifications:
to succeed in this role, you should have at least 7 years of experience in business analysis, business operations, or similar roles, a bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as finance, business, or computer science, and expertise in data analysis tools and techniques, including microsoft excel, snowflake, sql, power bi tools (dax, power query), and tableau. Experience working with customer operations teams and tools is also preferred.

the ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, strong critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of sales processes and methodologies is a plus.
