this position is responsible for supervising and managing sherwin-williams sales representatives, paint stores, and store personnel within a district. The goal is to improve sales, manage expenses and profits, reduce turnover, enhance personnel development, and provide better service to wholesale customers. As a commercial manager, you will collaborate with sales reps and store managers to enhance wholesale selling activities, increase market share, and support daily operations such as sales calls, inventory management, and customer service. You will also provide input to facilitate organizational growth and oversee the profit and loss reports of sales reps and store managers, reviewed monthly and annually.
requirements:
* experience leading sales teams such as store managers or sales representatives, with proven results in sales and profit, ideally in coating or construction industries.
* ability to develop strategies aligning teams with sales goals.
* experience conducting outside sales calls to generate new business and grow existing accounts.
* strong time management skills for daily and monthly planning.
* excellent customer service skills, including problem-solving and handling complaints.
* ability to manage human resources, including hiring, coaching, and developing sales staff.
* leadership qualities such as influence, decision-making, and prioritization skills.
* track record of achieving sales and profit targets, with experience in market penetration and competitive analysis.
* extensive knowledge of market segments, products, and applications.
* experience with crm systems.
