storage admin will coordinate the day-to-day activities of the operational systems, processes, and infrastructure required for all service offerings being developed that assist clients on their managed service delivery. This individual will work with one or multiple clients to gather requirements and the corresponding work needed based on the client's delivery roadmap. They will manage the day-to-day business of operations including various stakeholders and internal and external delivery partners.

experience in installation, configuration and managing storage hardware backup including physical and virtual tape libraries or drives along with disk storage targets and also san devices and fiber switches.
experience in administration of switches and chassis devices.
experience in executing zoning for development and production storage volumes.
experience in managing netapp snapshot as well as recovery methods for storage volumes.
build and manage emc storage
experience in brocade management
experience in implementing cross-site replication for dr.
experience in setting up volume replication overnight jobs and executing improvements.
experience in dealing with io performance of production along with development of application and infrastructure luns.
experience in providing architecture as well as performance recommendations to infrastructure and platform teams.
experience in conducting bottleneck evaluation to identify performance issues.
collaborate with teams as well as ops to assure apt storage usage.
day-to-day production support and maintenance of different versions of server infrastructure
identifies trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution.
raises and tracks issues and conflicts, removes barriers, resolves issues of medium complexity involving partners and calls out to appropriate levels when required.
solicits and responds to feedback while gaining dedication and support.
stays up to date on industry regulations, trends, and technology.
coordinates with management to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions within the team are being carried out in accordance with regulatory standard methodologies.
qualifications
bachelor's degree in computer science or related technology field preferred
minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience on storage technologies like netapp
strong working knowledge of itil principles and itsm
current understanding of industry trends and methodologies
outstanding verbal and written communication skills
excellent attention to detail
strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities
travel requirements
