Based in mexico city, the sales manager will own the commercial strategy and execution for the mexican market.
commercial strategy & key accounts
* own and drive the commercial strategy for key sporting and lifestyle retailers.
* build aggressive, data‑backed business plans per account.
* negotiate space, visibility, activations, and commercial terms.
sales & performance ownership
* monitor kpis: sell‑in, sell‑out, margin, inventory turnover, market share, credit balance.
* partner with marketing to maximize retail activations and seasonal campaigns.
* act as commercial lead with marketing, product, and supply chain teams.
* provide sharp input on pricing, inventory, and go‑to‑market strategy.
* ensure product storytelling and execution excellence at retail.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
* 5–7+ years of commercial experience in sporting goods, sports fashion, footwear, and athletic lifestyle brands.
* proven track record managing major retail accounts.
* data‑driven decision maker.
* excellent communicator in spanish and english.
* advanced excel and powerpoint skills.
* erp experience (sap or similar) preferred.
