Sales manager – smart locksrole summarythe sales manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with major retailers (e.g., the home depot, lowe's), local electronics chains (e.g., steren), top-tier security distributors, and large-scale real estate developers. The primary objective of this role is to increase ezviz's market share within the smart lock category and drive sustainable sales growth across the mexican market.key responsibilities:channel development & management negotiate product entry, assortment selection, and day-to-day operations with mexico's main diy and retail channels, including the home depot, amazon mx, and mercado libre. Develop and manage relationships with local security distributors, hardware wholesalers (ferreterías), and system integrators. Identify and expand new business opportunities through strategic channel partnerships. Key account management develop and manage projects with major real estate developers and property management companies, focusing on airbnb and long-term residential rental projects. Promote pre-installed smart lock solutions for residential and hospitality applications. Market insight & product localization research and understand mexican door lock standards and market requirements (e.g., ansi standards and regional specifications). Coordinate with hq and r&d teams to support product localization and adaptation for the mexican market. Monitor competitors such as yale, schlage, steren, and tuya-based brands regarding pricing strategies, product positioning, and marketing activities. Brand & marketing support lead the planning and execution of local trade shows and industry exhibitions (e.g., expo ferretera). Support channel promotions, branding initiatives, and local marketing activities. Establish and manage local installation and after-sales service networks. Sales performance & operations develop and execute annual and quarterly sales plans aligned with company objectives. Manage payment collection processes, inventory forecasting, and supply chain coordination to ensure healthy operations and product availability.qualifications:professional experience minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years focused specifically on the mexican market. Industry background strong experience within smart home, security, building materials, hardware, or consumer electronics industries. Previous experience with brands such as yale, schlage, assa abloy, tuya ecosystem brands, or similar competitors is highly preferred. Mandatory network (hard requirement) experience managing retail accounts, diy channels, security distributors, or hardware channels in mexico is highly preferred. Technical knowledge ability to understand technical specifications related to smart locks and door hardware, including backset, door thickness, mortise specifications, and installation requirements. Language skills professional communication skills in english or chinese are required to collaborate effectively with hq teams. Competencies strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
