*responsibilities*
as a member of the q2 solutions marketing team, the *event marketing coordinator* has diverse responsibilities that include:
events/conference management
- bring together multidisciplinary teams around the world: manage relationships with event team, marketing team and suppliers throughout all stages of projects.
- central point of contact for internal clients and manage vendors related to the conference.
- manage booth elements including logistics, collateral, scheduling coverage, and lead retrieval
- coordinate metrics and recap reporting.
- provide onsite event support for 2-3 key conferences in u.s. per year.
- light domestic travel for conferences.
marketing coordination
- developing and implementing marketing plans that contribute to the generation of qualified leads
- assisting in the development of sales/customer evidence-based communications and sales enablement
- participating in the development of effective advertising copy, social media plans, and integrated marketing campaigns
- interfacing with external agencies and appropriate internal functional groups to execute agreed-upon plans/programs
- providing content training to strengthen and differentiate our value proposition
*required knowledge, skills, and abilities*
- bachelor's degree required and at least 3 years relevant event marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- life science experience helpful
- strategic, self-starter, team player, results-driven professional
- strong microsoft office skills particularly powerpoint
- strong communication skills and fluent english speaker
- knowledge of cvent, eloqua, smartsheet and meeting platforms helpful
- the position is home-based with collaboration with a global team
