perform manpower planning and leveling per the new program template. Interact with corporate planning, production management and union leadership on all matters relating to ie activities. Lead a cross functional team in the development of operator man assignments, working closely with tls, quality, and engineering to assure objectives are met at a station and plant level. Build relationships with engineering and manufacturing to comprehend the new product requirements and sequence of build. Develops work assignments based on a predetermined time standards. Conducts studies in operations to maximize work flow and spatial utilization. Plans and oversees layout of equipment, office and production facilities. Perform cycle time and bottleneck analysis. Develop and improve work methods. Work with functional managers and operation managers to improve productivity, quality, and throughput. Support world class manufacturing (wcm) especially for wo (workplace organization) and lo (logistic) pillars. Support ie manager in various ie and wcm related assignments and projects.
qualifications
basic qualifications: bachelor\'s degree in industrial engineering
3 years industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
excellent communication, computer and problem solving/analytical skills
ability to work as part of a team and interface with all levels of management and labor
self-motivated
preferred qualifications
preferred qualifications: advanced degree preferred
industrial engineering experience implementing direct labor line balancing in a high volume manufacturing environment using a standard time methodology
leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
knowledge of amps, modapts and teamcenter highly desired

* support for cost reduction projects and investment projects
requirements
bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field
fluent in english
minimum 3 years in manufacturing/engineering or a related department to use lean tools.
knowledge of plcs, pneumatics, autocad, english (spoken and written), lean tools.
