responsibilities
1. Financial planning and analysis (fp&a)
* prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and medium- and long-term financial plans.
* analyze variances against budget and propose corrective actions.
* generate financial reports for senior management.
2. Financial control
* oversee monthly and annual financial closings.
* ensure the proper application of accounting standards (ifrs/us gaap).
* implement and monitor internal controls.
3. Business support
* act as a business partner for sales, operations, and supply chain departments.
* evaluate profitability by product, portfolio, and market.
* support decisions regarding pricing, product launches, and product discontinuation.
4. Regulatory compliance
* ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
* coordinate internal and external audits.
* ensure alignment with corporate policies and compliance.
5. Cost management
* analyze production, distribution, and marketing costs.
* identify opportunities for efficiency and optimization.
* monitor operating expenses (opex) and capex.
6. Strategic projects
* participate in financial transformation initiatives.
* support mergers and acquisitions (m&a) processes and due diligence.
* implement improvements to financial systems (erp, automation).
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
* master's degree (mba or finance) is preferred.
* certifications (cpa, cfa, or equivalent) preferred.
experience
* 8–12 years in finance and 3–5 years in a managerial or senior role.
* experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or regulated consumer goods (essential).
* experience in multi-country or international corporate environments.
technical skills:
* accounting standards (ifrs/us gaap).
* financial planning and modeling.
* cost and profitability analysis.
* basic pharmaceutical regulation (pricing, compliance).
* proficiency with erp systems (sap, oracle) and analytical tools (advanced excel, power bi).
