the content performance analyst will support our programming, content acquisition, distribution, platform, and monetization strategy by turning audience and content performance data into actionable business intelligence. This role is responsible for analyzing how our content performs across linear, fast, avod, ott, ctv, and digital platforms. The analyst will review ratings, audience behavior, platform data, scheduling information, competitive benchmarks, and monetization indicators to help determine which content drives audience, which content drives revenue, which programming decisions should be adjusted, and which opportunities should be prioritized. The role is intended to help us make faster, data-supported decisions about programming, content acquisition, scheduling, sales positioning, distribution strategy, and roi.
responsibilities

• prepare clear reports on ratings, audience behavior, scheduling, platform performance, and revenue-related metrics.
• track performance by title, genre, channel, time slot, platform, audience segment, and market .
• identify what content is performing, what is underperforming, and where programming or scheduling changes m ay improve results.
• supp ort content acquisition decisions by connecting audience performance to content cost, licensing terms, platform placement, and roi.
• translate performance data into practica l in sights for programming, ad sales, distribution, and leadership.
• develop advertiser-facing audience stories and commercial positioning points to supp ort s ales. gaps, reporting limitations, and methodology issues that m ay affect business conclusions.

• conduct competitive analysis and help define the right competitive set across fast, avod, ot t, ctv, linear, and other relevant platforms. Build and maintain spreadsheets, trackers, dashboards, and summaries for recurring and ad ho c analysis.
• respond quickly to leadership requests for content, audience, programming, platform, or revenue analysis .
• perform other duties as assigned.
requirements and qualifications
• bachelor ’s degree in media, communications, business, data analytics, marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in media analytics, audience insights, content strategy, programming research, streaming analytics, or a related role p referred .
• strong excel or google sheets skills, including data organization, formulas, and reporting.
• experience working with ratings, audience, platform, streaming, or media performance data preferred.
• ability to analyze content performance and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
• understanding of key performance metrics such as ratings, reach, views, time spent, engagement, audience composition, revenue, and roi.
• strong attention to detail and ability to identify trend s, data gaps, and rep or ting limitations.
• ability to communicate clearly with programming, a d sales, distribution, and leadership teams.
• interest in television, streaming, fast, avod, ott, ctv, digital media, and content monetization.
• bilingual english/ spanish preferred
