Sls playa mujeres, part of sls hotels and ennismore | accor, is looking for a director of leisure sales to lead and grow our leisure segment in one of the most competitive and exciting destinations in the caribbean. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving strategic partnerships, expanding international markets, and positioning sls playa mujeres as a preferred luxury lifestyle destination for leisure travelers.
we are looking for a dynamic sales leader with strong industry relationships, deep knowledge of the leisure segment, and a proven track record in revenue generation.
responsibilities
* develop and execute the leisure sales strategy aligned with hotel revenue objectives.
* build and maintain strategic relationships with tour operators, wholesalers, travel agencies, and consortia in key international markets.
* identify new market opportunities and expand the hotel's global leisure footprint.
* negotiate commercial agreements and partnerships to maximize production and profitability.
* collaborate closely with revenue management, marketing, and distribution teams to optimize performance.
* represent the hotel at international trade shows, industry events, and sales missions.
* monitor market trends and competitor activity to ensure a strong competitive position.
candidate profile
* bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, business, marketing, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in hotel sales, with a strong focus on the leisure segment.
* proven experience working with international tour operators and global markets.
* strong knowledge of the mexican caribbean hospitality market.
* advanced english required.
* excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
