Technical business analyst – securities platforms (beta)
what are we looking for?
* education: bachelor's degree in business, finance, information systems, or a related field.
* experience: 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or technical business analyst within financial services, brokerage, or clearing environments.
* domain knowledge: strong working knowledge of the securities trade lifecycle (order entry, execution, positions, balances, and tax).
* platform expertise: direct experience working with beta (betanxt) or comparable clearing/back-office platforms.
* technical skills: proven experience writing detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for api-driven systems.
* tools: familiarity with azure devops for backlog, defect, and release management.
* soft skills: strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
what do we expect from you?
* subject matter expertise: act as the sme for securities processing across beta-integrated platforms, ensuring requirements align with clearing operations and regulatory expectations.
* backlog management: elicit requirements from stakeholders and author clear user stories and functional specifications in azure devops.
* api collaboration: partner with engineering teams to design and deliver securities-related apis (trading, accounts, balances, market data).
* integration support: validate data mappings and payloads between beta, internal platforms, and third-party vendors.
* quality assurance: support uat, regression testing, and defect triage to ensure delivered functionality meets requirements.
* stakeholder liaison: serve as a bridge between internal teams and external vendors like betanxt.
