a successfulincumbent is expected to (i) develop, implement and update a workplan for the project management unit in a variety of projectsincluding npd, derivative products, productivity, qualityimprovement and business development, including assignment ofprojects, establishment of and monitoring of project schedules, and(ii) collaborate with manufacturing engineering on developingprocess improvement plans; implement action plan and report out onmetrics.
requires 7+ years of experience in managing multipleprojects with prior experience in a manufacturing environment withadditional 1+ year of prior supervisory experience and a minimum ofa bachelor's degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience.
-develop, implement and update a work plan for the projectmanagement unit in a variety of projects including npd, derivativeproducts, productivity, quality improvement and businessdevelopment, including assignment of projects, establishment of andmonitoring of project schedules - collaborate with manufacturingengineering on developing process improvement plans; implementaction plan and report out on metrics - support to project teams inmitigating project risks by developing risk mitigation plans andfacilitate crisis meetings with operations management and approvingaction plans and workarounds to mitigate project risk events -establish, maintain and report on npi kpi's - provide regularupdates on project status and risks to upper management;communicate relevant issues and deviations to management andtechnical personnel - ensure adherence to quality standards andreview of project deliverables; monitor and ensure adherence toprogram and department budget - ensure resources are allocatedproperly for multiple project teams; analyze reported and potentialissues to proactively assign resources required - facilitateoverall planning, resource coordination and scheduling ofmanufacturing functions - ensure utilization of standardized toolsand formats for planning, tracking communicating and project riskmitigation.
