this role involves supporting the parts delivery manager within the distributed generation services business unit. You will create, maintain, and communicate detailed production plans for specific part orders to enable the master production plan. Additionally, you will provide the supply chain management team with insights into delivery schedules and their ability to meet customer and business requirements.
how you’ll make an impact
* respond to demand changes by providing the parts delivery manager with the intention of meeting customer requirements in line with the sales & operations planning process.
* maintain component planning data to enable demand cascade through the supply chain, resulting in a committed plan.
* reflect supplier delivery commitments in sap, respond to inquiries, and manage schedule line alignments to ensure delivery to plan, including new parts, following all relevant processes.
* act as the primary interface with suppliers, leading improvement activities related to planning, control, inventory, delivery, and lead times.
* lead business reviews with suppliers to ensure requirements are being met, considering quality, cost, and delivery impacts.
* manage delivery issues, report shortages, and coordinate recovery programs to meet the plan. Understand load and capacity constraints within suppliers that may impact performance.
what you bring
* university degree preferred; 5+ years experience in engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, or logistics with knowledge of production planning and controls.
* strong understanding of quality systems, inventory control, and it systems; proficiency in sap.
* excellent communication, problem-solving, and proactive skills.
* team-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement; ownership of personal development.
* high standard of customer service.
* bilingual in english and spanish is required.
