Hr business partner – mexicomultinational company seeks a dynamic and experienced hr business partner to support our growing operations in mexico.we are looking for a professional who can hit the ground running, someone equally comfortable managing the precision of payroll compliance and the complexity of driving local and regional hr initiatives in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.the rolereporting to the regional hr manager for latin america, you will serve as the primary hr point of contact for mexico.the role is structured around two core pillars:payroll & compliance (primary focus): own end-to-end payroll processing for mexico, ensuring full accuracy, legal compliance, and timely execution.you will be the in-country authority on mexican labor law, social security obligations (imss/infonavit), and regulatory updates.hr generalist & people initiatives (secondary focus): partner with regional and global hr teams to implement company-wide programs, including employee engagement surveys, action plan follow-through, talent development initiatives, and onboarding/recruitment support.what you will domanage monthly payroll operations in mexico, including variable pay, benefits administration, and statutory deductions (isr, imss, infonavit, fonacot)ensure compliance with the ley federal del trabajo and all applicable local labor regulations; stay current on legislative changesserve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on hr matters, policies, and people practiceslead the local implementation of the annual employee engagement survey process, from survey coordination to action plan design and progress trackingsupport regional and global hr initiatives, contributing a mexico-market perspective to company-wide programscoordinate recruitment processes for mexico-based roles, partnering with hiring managers on sourcing, interviewing, and onboardingidentify training needs and coordinate learning & development programs aligned with global standardsmaintain accurate employee records and ensure hr data integrity in the hrissupport employee relations matters, performance management cycles, and organizational changeswhat we're looking for7+ years of hr experience, with a significant portion in payroll management in mexico (non-negotiable requirement), strong command of mexican labor legislation, tax law, and social security frameworksproven experience in an international, multicultural hr environment (multinational company experience its a pluss), hands-on experience with employee engagement surveys process.generalist hr background covering recruitment, training, employee relations, and people developmentability to balance operational excellence with strategic hr thinkingstrong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills across multiple levels and culturesfluency in spanish and english (written and spoken) — required for regional collaborationproficiency in hris and payroll systemswhat we offera high-impact role within a global companyregional exposure and collaboration with latin america and global hr teamscompetitive compensation package aligned with the marketopportunity to shape the people agenda in a key market
