Uap manager – faurecia

As an uap manager, your mission is to manage the financial, material, and human resources of the autonomous production unit to ensure production while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery indicators for internal and external customers, using the faurecia excellence system and specific customer requirements.
responsibilities
* effective monitoring by identifying training needs.
* monitor costs, productivity, maintenance, and general costs.
* direct and control the work of the svs in the different process areas and each team.
* maintain rigorous monitoring of the fes system.
* encourage and support improvement groups (tpm, hoshin, qrci line, plant, psu).
* ensure proper functioning of the ohp structure.
* carry out direct assignments requested by the immediate supervisor.
* periodically audit the quality of the area in accordance with the current quality system.
* improve internal operating procedures with other psus and support areas.
* optimize assigned human and material resources.
* participate in the start‑up of new products or processes.
* monitor action plans for inventory deviations and line inventories.
* stop the process if safety and quality issues arise.
* monitor the production schedule (mps – sop).
* maintain budget and plant objectives.
* comply with and enforce the code of ethics and management.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in engineering.
* intermediate to advanced english proficiency.
* 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry.
* knowledge of operations management, continuous improvement, kanban, etc.
* previous experience managing groups of people ≥50.
technical competencies
* knowledge of the production process (sewing, lining, adhesives, thermoforming, plastic injection molding).
* kanban system knowledge.
* knowledge of quality control circuits or equivalent (kaizen, hoshin).
* problem‑solving techniques.
* staff administration and development.
* budget management.
* knowledge of iatf 16949:2016, vda, iso 14001:2015.
* specific customer requirements.
* lean manufacturing, supply chain operations, vsm knowledge.
* tpm knowledge and application.
* quality tools (control plan, fmea, work instructions).
