the account manager develops, implements and updates the account strategy and in this role, you will coordinate sales activities, creating added value for the customer and abb, with a clear focus on increasing market share, profitability and customer satisfaction.
*this position reports to*:
sales manager
*your responsibilities*:
- leading the development and implementation of the account plan and growth actions.
- defining sales targets for the account, and ensuring they are achieved with a structured follow-up process across.
- providing solutions for their businesses that are in line with volume, mix and profitability targets - monitoring competitor activity and ensuring appropriate action is taken.
*your background*:
- bachelor´s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, automation, chemical processes or related.
some postgraduate degree in administration, especially marketing or sales is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in sales of automation systems and continuous process control
- experience in devoloping medium to long term projects: including the creation of level c suite contracts.
- knowledge of distributed control systems, plc and processes related to the oil & gas and power generation industry.
- experience in sales to end users, with oil & gas and power generation segments.
- availability to travel.
- advanced english level.
