Sap access control apprentice

job summary:
we are looking for a motivated sap access control apprentice with a strong interest in developing within sap grc security and compliance. This role will support access management, control monitoring, and audit-related activities, working closely with it and business teams.
key responsibilities
* support user access management in sap using grc tools (access control).
* assist in validating roles and profiles in accordance with security policies.
* contribute to segregation of duties (sod) risk analysis.
* execute and document controls within process control.
* follow up on access‑related incidents and service requests.
* support the preparation of compliance and audit reports.
* document evidence for internal and external audits.
* collaborate with it and business teams to ensure process compliance.
* participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process documentation.
required qualifications
* current student or recent graduate in information technology, systems, engineering, accounting, or related fields.
* interest in sap grc (access control / process control).
* basic knowledge of business processes or erp systems (preferred).
* strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* good communication skills.
* intermediate english level (preferred).
preferred qualifications
* basic knowledge of sap or similar tools.
* familiarity with audit, internal controls, or compliance concepts (sox is a plus).
* experience with excel or data analysis tools.
desired skills
* basic knowledge of sap security and role mapping is desired but not mandatory. This resource can be trained on the job.
* customer‑facing skills, as the role has a high volume of incidents and will be exposed to business users.
* bilingual (english and spanish).
