Food Safety Specialist
We seek a proactive and detail-oriented professional to oversee our food safety management system. The idóneo candidate will ensure compliance with ISO 22000 standards, implement effective hygiene practices, and drive excellence in hospitality operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) to meet regulatory requirements.
- Conducting regular kitchen inspections to monitor hygiene and sanitation levels.
- Collaborating with the Executive Chef on investigations of possible foodborne illness cases and tracking supplier certifications.
- Designing and delivering food safety trainings to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
- Supporting internal and external audits to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Maintaining industry best practices for food safety and hygiene.
- Relevant diploma or certificate in food safety or related field.
- Knowledge and certification in HACCP and ISO 22000.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in food hygiene and sanitation within the hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with local and federal food safety regulations.
- Experience with FSMS implementation and audits.
- Excellent communication and training delivery skills.
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
