role overview
as an account executive, you will become part of a next-generation "cyborg" sales team, leveraging ai-powered systems to manage high-volume workflows while focusing on what truly matters: building broker relationships, structuring complex scenarios, and driving deals from origination through funding.
key responsibilities
conduct high-volume outreach (calls/emails) to acquire and develop strong relationships with mortgage brokers.
manage the full loan pipeline—from submission through funding—acting as the main liaison between brokers and internal operations.
analyze borrower financial documentation (bank statements, p&l, dscr) to determine loan eligibility and price scenarios in real time.
utilize crm platforms and ai-driven tools to automate follow-ups, accelerate response times, and consistently meet daily kpis.
serve as a product expert in non-qm and wholesale lending, explaining matrices, rate sheets, and guidelines clearly and strategically.
requirements / experience
minimum 3+ years of verified sales experience within the mortgage industry (wholesale or correspondent strongly preferred).
proven success in managing a sales pipeline and closing deals.
technical knowledge
experience with los, pricing engines, and reading rate sheets.
comfortable using crm tools and eager to incorporate ai into daily workflows.
skills
full bilingual fluency in english and spanish (c1/c2) — required for financial negotiations.
strong communication skills and the ability to articulate the value of non-qm products.

checksum – regional sales manager (mexico)
checksum is seeking a sales-driven regional sales manager based in mexico to lead capital equipment sales into the electronics manufacturing sector. This is a business development and account management role that owns the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification through proposals, negotiation, and close.
you are a sales professional who is comfortable in an smt/pcba environment and can quickly grasp technical concepts and process-improvement opportunities across the manufacturing flow. A test background is not required, but experience with ict, functional test, flying probe, or related capital equipment is a strong plus.
the role centers on sales excellence, smt process understanding, and value-based selling that ties checksum's solutions to measurable improvements in throughput, quality, and cost. You will be supported by application engineers and other technical resources for deeper technical discussions about customer-specific test applications.
you will work closely with customers to understand their production challenges and capacity needs, then position checksum's parallel test solutions to increase throughput, reduce costs, and improve overall line performance. You will also collaborate with the global sales team to build relationships at multiple levels—from c-level and plant management to engineering and production teams.

key responsibilities
own the sales process for your territory in mexico: prospecting, qualification, opportunity strategy, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
develop and execute account plans for key automotive and ems customers, focusing on long-term growth and market share.
build and manage a healthy pipeline, maintain accurate forecasts, and report regularly on activity and progress.
conduct discovery meetings to understand customer manufacturing flows, capacity constraints, and quality challenges across the smt line.
position checksum's parallel test solutions in the context of the full smt process, competing options, and the customer's business goals.
lead customer presentations, demos, and technical/commercial reviews, ensuring follow-up actions are completed and opportunities move forward.
engage multiple levels of the organization (c-level, plant managers, engineering managers, test/process engineers, and operators) to build consensus in complex sales cycles.
coordinate with global sales and partners to drive joint activities and coverage in the region.
represent checksum at industry events and follow up on leads from these activities.
qualifications
5+ years of capital equipment sales experience into electronics manufacturing (smt/pcba, ems, or automotive electronics).
strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a complex, consultative selling environment.
solid understanding of smt/pcba manufacturing processes, including spi, aoi, reflow, ict, functional test, flying probe, or related.
fluent in spanish with strong business english; based in mexico with ability to travel regularly.
nice to have
experience with test, flying probe, ict, or functional test; degree in engineering or business is preferred.
technical sales specialist (precision agriculture; remote)
