Overview
The WFO Reporting Analyst ensures that business leaders have clear, accurate, and actionable reporting. This role combines data pipeline development, automation, and analysis to deliver insights that drive operational and workforce decisions. The analyst will be part of the Workforce Optimization (WFO) team within our Customer Experience department and will work cross-functionally to turn raw data into meaningful insights that guide performance. This is a full-time, hourly, remote position.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Connect systems and integrate data via APIs.
- Develop and automate reporting workflows using Python in cloud/virtual environments (e.g., Azure, Google Colab).
- Maintain and validate accuracy of reports and dashboards.
- Redesign reporting for clarity, visibility, and impact.
- Build new reports and dashboards for KPIs, performance, and efficiency.
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations that improve decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure reporting meets business needs.
- Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Some travel (<5%) may be required on an as needed basis, with advance notice provided to the employee.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Intermediate proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar) required.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (formulas, pivots, macros) required.
- Experience building pipelines and automating reports using APIs, and Python.
- Clear written and verbal communication in English required.
- Experience in reporting or analytics within a business operations or cross-functional environment.
- Hands-on experience scaling reporting solutions in Azure, Google Colab, or other cloud environments.
- Knowledge of ETL workflows strongly preferred.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git preferred.
- Ability to design effective data visualizations that simplify complex metrics.
- Accuracy and attention to detail; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take initiative and simplify complex findings.
- Strong collaborative skills and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- This role involves sitting most of the time but may also involve moving for brief periods of time.
