about the role
we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented accounting assistant (ap/ar) to support daily accounting operations. In this role, you will assist with invoice processing, payment tracking, and billing support to help ensure accurate financial records and smooth transaction management.

* enter and process vendor invoices and credit memos
* verify invoice accuracy, approvals, and payment terms
* reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
* code credit card transactions to the appropriate accounts
* maintain accurate billing and payment records
* communicate with members regarding billing questions or payment status
* follow up on outstanding balances and payment discrepancies
* maintain organized financial documentation
* help track transactions and identify potential errors
* collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial inquiries
* support accurate recordkeeping across ap and ar processes
* high school diploma required (coursework in accounting or business is a plus)
* basic understanding of accounting principles
* ability to manage financial records with attention to detail
* comfortable communicating via email with members and vendors
* ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
* experience using accounting or financial systems is a plus
* familiarity with club essentials or automate is a plus
* detail-oriented and organized
* fast learner with strong adaptability
