what you will do:
- lead a team of 8-10 program managers and technical project leaders, fostering empowerment and accountability.
- oversee program planning and execution, aligning with organizational goals and the product development process (pdp).
- communicate effectively with stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and ensure strategic alignment.
- allocate resources efficiently across multiple projects to balance competing demands.
- develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
- establish key performance indicators (kpis) to monitor and improve program success.
- drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project profitability post-launch.
- ensure financial accountability by managing project budgets effectively.
who you are (basic qualifications):
- bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in automotive product development.
- 7+ years of experience as a program/project manager in automotive launches.
- strong understanding of project management methodologies.
- proficiency in english and spanish languages, both written and verbal.
what will put you ahead:
- pmp or pgmp certifications.
- mba or a master's degree in program management or a related technical discipline.
- experience with vehicle antenna systems, automotive wire harnesses, usb chargers, media control modules, or wireless chargers.
- 3+ years of experience supervising program or project managers.
- familiarity with problem-solving processes and tools like 8d, 5-phase, and ishikawa diagrams.
