General Accountant Jr.
We are looking for enthusiastic people who work as a team and who function easily in dynamic environments.
About you
If you like working in the communication and entertainment industry and have experience carrying out general accounting activities, you could contribute to us.
Your activities will be:
· Financial Reporting: Preparing and presenting financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
· Account Reconciliation: Performing regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
· Month-End Close: Managing the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments, to ensure all financial data is accurately recorded.
· Variance Analysis: Analyzing financial variances between actual results and budgeted/forecasted figures to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
· Compliance and Audit Support: Ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulations, and providing support during internal and external audits.
· Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of financial reporting and accounting operations.
If you have
· Bachelor's degree in accounting
· Conversational English Advanced (you will be in touch daily with TelevisaUnivison USA)
· 2 years of professional experience as general accountant in a shared service center (as minimum)
· ERP management
· Excel management (intermediate)
· Knowledge of US GAAP
