Key responsibilities:deliver timely and accurate financial information – actuals, forecasts, business plans.act as a business partner with the operations departments and other entities & regions to ensure alignment on financial goals, strategies, and deadlines.accounting acumen – accrual & reclassifications posting and management; account/cost center-level reviews; p&l/balance sheet knowledge.financial acumen – bridges, variation, trends, and analysis generation & presentation; active participation in budget and forecast processes.ensure that the company doa is being followed – purchase requisition approvals.intercompany processes knowledge.capex processes knowledge.enforce internal control and best practices – help as a point of reference for other parties on the best courses of action.process improvement – analyze the current processes in place and identify how as a team we can improve and become more efficient.
